News Coverage
BCVA Inc. (Dale Casper) was contracted by CBS News to cover tornados and damage in Oklahoma.
From Dale: We left Dallas at 9PM (shortly after the Tornados had hit Oklahoma) and traveled to the damage area. We scouted the vicinity, located a severely hard hit area, contacted the producer, reporter, live truck and started setting up for a 5 A.M. CBS News Morning live-shot.
As it so happens the CBS satellite truck got stuck in the mud a couple miles from the live-shot location. I left my audio tech. at the location and went to assist the sat. truck engineer. I was able to pull the sat. truck out of the mud using my van and we preceded to the live shot location. The producer and reporter arrived shortly after and we were able to do several live "hits" as scheduled during the morning show. We were asked to shoot a package and an additional Evening News live shot (which we did).
Dale and his crew did an excellent job for us going above and beyond for 17 hours straight without a break.

I understand the demands of the news business: Working in news can be stressful but I have always enjoyed the adrenaline rush and the feeling of accomplishment.
Corporate Training
BCVA Inc. (Dale Casper) was contracted by Caterpillar (Holt Cat) to record the dismantling and rebuilding of a large turbine engine used to "push" natural gas through pipelines.
From Dale: I arrived at the pump station, went through a safety briefing (as we would be working around explosive gasses) and scouted the location. I reviewed the rebuilding procedure with the lead mechanic and determined the best camera locations. The engine itself was the size of a freight train locomotive and needed to be lifted off the base. I secured a scissors lift, put on a safety harness, and shot the procedure from above looking down on the engine and mechanics.
Dale needed minimal direction (I wasn't even present for the shoot.) Dale gave me regular updates throughout the procedure and sent me the raw footage after the shoot. It worked out very nicely. It's great to have a "shooter" I can count on.

I have always been interested in construction equipment and I guess it taps into the little kid in me. What boy doesn't like loud, big, machines?
Sports / Auto Racing
BCVA Inc. (Dale Casper) was contracted by Speed TV to cover the announcement of a new Formula 1 track in Austin. The Governor would be speaking and they would perform background checks on all the crews covering the announcement.
From Dale: I contacted the P.R. Dept. with the track, the governor's staff, and obtained the necessary credentials. The day of the shoot I arrived at the location early, set up for the interviews, and waited for the reporter who was flying in. The shoot went smoothly and now the track is calling me directly to do work for them.
Fast, Loud, and Race Cars - another cool shoot.
We have been using Dale for years and know there won't be any issues. He is our first call in Dallas.
